The Festival International de la Poésie is an annual poetry festival held in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada. 

Co-founder of the Écrits des Forges publishing house noticed a lack of respect to the art of poetry and thought to bring local artists together. Several years later, Félix Leclerc declared Trois-Rivieres the "poetry capital of Quebec." 

Poets from all over the world gather in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec to celebrate the Festival International de la Poesie. Over a 10 day period and 70 different countries artists collaborate and share written work.
